Project brief.
Goal and Objectives
Most habit trackers look identical — blocky cards with checkboxes, resembling email interfaces. I wanted to create something people would actually enjoy opening. The design drew from old textbook line illustrations — nostalgic and charming. But beauty alone wasn't enough. The app needed robust functionality: tracking, journaling, analytics, all in a lightweight, intuitive package. The goal: bridge the gap between the aesthetic appeal of paper planners and the practical necessity of digital tools.
Challenge
Every project has its own keystone.The breakthrough was making animations both beautiful and personal. I used Lottie to bring the line illustrations to life with smooth, Disney-quality motion. But the technical approach was layer control: by structuring After Effects layers correctly, users could customize animation colors for each habit. This combination — delightful movement plus personalization — made the app feel truly alive. The animations weren't static decoration; they responded to user choices and brought personality to every interaction..

Jul 19, 2025I really love this application for how simple and elegant the UI looks, the functionalities that has been provided to group habits and track them, and also to see the progress. However, please consider making this design responsive on an iPad as well as I want to majorly use this on my M1 iPad Pro. On an iPhone it is awesome, but the layout is not attractive on an iPad. Please provide a layout fix for iPads as these devices will be more popular going forward since the iPadOS 26.

The widget support came in a bit late, for sure, but it’s just so pleasant to just look at them. Please please please add more artworks. Thank you so much for your app!

For one, this app is one of the very few habit apps (and I’ve tried probably well over 30 apps) that I actually enjoy using, but I enjoy using this one the most. The animations/sounds are amazing and make me happy when I’m using the app and after I complete a habit (even the ones I don’t particularly enjoy), plus it’s incredibly smooth to use. I also LOVE the layout and especially that the analytics aren’t confusing or too much to look at like a lot of others are. 😊

Sep 23, 2024 - Sjfue184djs정말 수 없이 많은 습관 트래킹 앱을 써봤지만 기능, 디자인, 가격, 등등 이것만큼 좋은 앱을 찾을 수 없었습니다. 기존에 속도 느릴때도 똑같은 평가였는데 이젠 속도도 빨라졌네요. 홈화면에 2X2 크기의 달력 모양으로 선택한 습관이 이번달에 언제 언제 성공했는 표시되는 위젯이 있으면 더 좋을것 같지만 없어도 뭐 계속 쓸 예정입니다. (이미 플러스지만 위젯이 추가 결제 하라고 해도 일회성 구매라면 할 것 같습니다)
